Job Title: Sr. Business Process Analyst (BPMN 2.0 process modeling, Orbus Infinity, or SharePoint, and Power BI)

  • Location: Hybrid Onsite, Manhattan, New York, (2 days per week onsite, Tuesdays & Thursdays onsite)

  • MUST HAVE: 6+ years experience as a "Business Process Analyst" or "Enterprise Architecture Analyst" working on business process analysis, and process documentation (this is NOT a Business Analyst role) (Business Process Analysts are different with BPMN specific technologies)
  • (Current experience) 6 + years experience with BPMN 2.0 process modeling
  • 6+ years experience working with MS Visio, or Lucid Charts, or Orbus Infinity for specific process modeling and diagrams
  • Must have SharePoint, and Power BI for creating and maintaining SharePoint sites and Power BI dashboards
  • Current and 6+ years experience using BPMN 2.0 to draw level 1 through level 3 business processes, updating and managing SharePoint sites, Power BI reports, and have a firm understanding of Orbus Infinity for Enterprise Architecture related documentation

Job Description

Job Purpose:

Responsible for documenting and analyzing business processes, ensuring collaboration between business owners, IT, and stakeholders. This role will involve using BPMN 2.0 to draw level 1 through level 3 business processes, updating and managing SharePoint sites, Power BI reports, and have a firm understanding of Orbus Infinity for Enterprise Architecture related documentation.

The candidate will be asked to regularly meet with business owners and capture critical information on business processes, applications, data and integrations to ensure alignment between business and technology.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Level 1 through Level 3 business process diagrams using BPMN 2.0
  • Capture key business process, application, and data relationships in Orbus Infinity
  • Create and maintain SharePoint pages and lists
  • Build and update Power BI reports
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with business owners to ensure up to date information on business processes, applications, data, and roles.
  • Communicate findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non technical audiences
  • Ensure consistency in documentation and reporting standards across all tools and platforms

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field

Experience:

  • 6+ years experience in business process analysis, process documentation
  • Experience with BPMN 2.0 process modeling
  • Experience working with Orbus Infinity, SharePoint, and Power BI or similar tools

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of business processes, applications, data interactions, and integrations
  • Ability to identify automated steps, data entities, and integration touchpoints in processes
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining SharePoint sites and Power BI dashboards
