Home to some of the top sports podcasts, including "Cousins with Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady," "The Triple Option with Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram II, and Rob Stone," "Unfiltered Soccer with Landon Donovan and Tim Howard," "Post Moves with Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston," and "Style of Play with Julie Ertz and Kealia Watt" as well as a network of team-focused podcasts, with more shows slated for 2026 and beyond. With a rapidly expanding digital footprint and a reach spanning 180+ broadcast stations and tens of millions of followers, AMP Sports continues to build scalable content ecosystems that drive audience growth, engagement, and revenue.
We are seeking a Senior Creative Producer, Original Content to develop, produce, and launch original, audience-first video and social franchises across the AMP Sports portfolio that expand our shows beyond the core podcast, drive audience growth, and increase the long-term value of our talent and show IP.
Partnering closely with leadership, content, social, production, and marketing, this role will proactively identify programming opportunities, pitch new concepts, and own approved projects from idea through delivery. They will also work with individual show teams to develop more creative, visual, and repeatable in-show formats designed to perform across YouTube, social, and the broader digital ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a highly creative video-first producer and director with exceptional original content instincts and the production experience to turn ambitious ideas into finished programming. They are a creator and storyteller, and understand how talent-led digital brands grow across YouTube and social platforms. They should be equally comfortable developing a franchise, directing talent in the field, managing a production budget and external crew, or helping a show producer build a stronger recurring segment. Strong hands-on video production skills are required.
What You'll Do
  • Proactively develop, pitch, and produce premium original video franchises, recurring series, tentpole concepts, and shoulder programming built around AMP Sports shows and talent designed to drive audience growth.
  • Own creative process from concept through delivery, including development, ideation, pre-production through post-production, and final delivery.
  • Partner with show producers to level up existing programming through creative concepts designed to improve audience growth, retention, and engagement.
  • Extend the AMP Sports talent and show IP beyond the core podcast, with a particular focus on premium YouTube video, repeatable franchises, and original concepts.
  • Own the entire production process of original video content in, studio, field, and remote environments, maintaining a high standard of creative and technical execution.
  • Direct on-camera talent, athletes, and creators in studio and on location, with the ability to shape story, conversation, performance, and creative execution.
  • Lead post-production process, partner with editors and post-production teams to shape narrative through the edit, providing creative direction on larger projects.
  • Ideate original programming built for discovery, distribution, and growth across YouTube and social platforms; use audience and performance insights to inform creative decisions.
  • Work with show leads to develop and maintain a pipeline of programming ideas and opportunities; consult on new show launches and talent development when appropriate.
  • Serve as a flexible senior creative resource across the portfolio, with the ability to step into lead producer responsibilities when needed.
  • Assist developing and managing project budgets, and hire and oversee freelance production teams, vendors, and other external resources to execute approved concepts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are
  • 7+ years producing premium original digital video for a media or production company, sports or entertainment brand, agency, creator-led business, or similar.
  • A highly creative developer and storyteller, with a proven track record of originating compelling programming, video concepts, recurring franchises, or similar and bringing them from concept through execution across YouTube, long-form video, social, and other digital platforms.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional creative instincts and format development skills across premium digital content.
  • Expertise producing, shooting, and editing content in both field and studio environments across a variety of formats.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills and editorial instincts, with the ability to identify compelling narratives and turn those into high value content that connects with audiences.
  • Experience directing on-camera talent, creators, athletes, and high-profile personalities, maximizing their skillsets.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (or similar), as well as hands-on production skills with cameras, lighting, microphones, etc. in field, studio, and remote settings.
  • Strong understanding of social and YouTube best practices, audience retention, content packaging, SEO, and how content is consumed by audience across platforms.
  • A self-starter, highly collaborative, and able to lead and work across multiple teams while also working independently without oversight.
  • Someone who has a strong passion for creating digital-first content that cuts through the noise and drives significant audience growth.
  • Experience developing and managing production budgets, and onboarding and managing freelancers, vendors, and other external resources is a plus.
  • Highly organized and communicative, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring all projects stay on timeline and all key stakeholders are involved.
  • Ability to travel and work nights, weekends, or holidays as projects call for.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave,vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
