Job description

Are you looking for a great team environment?  Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst.

Southern Farm Bureau is a great company and an excellent place to work. Essential Functions

Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends and variances and make recommendations to improve company’s fiscal efficiency based on interpretation of financial information. 

Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management. 

Compare departmental expenses to budget and provides advice and analysis at the department level to increase the efficiency of the company’s spending.

Assist with projecting future financial needs and collaborates with management to prepare long-term financial plans and other budget and financial reports.

Utilizes systems and tools for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

Assists in the creation and further development of a budget preparation manual, budget policies and procedures manual, and other documents as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

Act as a Supervisor for Accounting employees when and where requested.

Regular and predictable attendance is required.
