Description
?SAIC is seeking a Technical Writer to serve on a Commander's Action Group (CAG) supporting our customer, MARFORCYBER and USCYBERCOM. The technical writer will be part of a close team that is required to achieve the customer's long-term vision, translating strategic intent into operational execution and ensuring the precision of executive communications across the complex, multi-faceted ecosystem required to achieve the customer's mission.
Job Duties:
  • Under general direction, edits and refines operational reports, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and assessment frameworks to ensure they meet the highest standards of clarity and precision.
  • Coordinate with staff directories to synthesize raw technical data into polished executive summaries.
  • Ensure all outward-facing communications are consistent with Combatant-level standards and higher headquarters' messaging.
  • Drafts executive-level speeches, talking points, and white papers.
  • Develop comprehensive technical summaries of AI capabilities for use in the Commander's decision process.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; four (4) additional years of work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Previous military Officer or Senior NCO with Cross-Functional Team experience (O-4/E-7 or higher) or Intelligence Professional with Cross-Functional Team experience (GG-13 or higher) preferred.
  • Advanced expertise in technical writing and ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategic narratives within a military or intelligence environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for senior executives (General Officers/SES Level).

Required Clearances:
  • Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and CI Polygraph. Polygraph must have been completed within the last five years.
