Duration: 12 Months contract
Job Description:
  • The Sr. Developer (Middleware) will design and develop technical web services and integration solutions that support our current business needs in accordance with established standards. Contribute to all aspects of project life cycle from design to deployment. This position will design, code, unit test and collaborate with other technical members of the team to carry out the project requirements and deliverables. The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of qualities: effective communication, technical proficiency and the ability to work effectively with technology partners and other internal customers to provide responsive support across our application portfolio.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Developing interfaces and web services using Oracle SOA, OSB and Spring boot.
โ€ข Deliver solutions on API led approach.
โ€ข Develop SQL/PLSQL code where necessary.
โ€ข Provide solutions using core java/ spring.
โ€ข Develop integrations between different databases (Oracle, SQL Server, No SQL), File servers.
Experience:
โ€ข 6+ years of experience in IT/Technology industry.
โ€ข 5+ years of experience in Oracle development, design and architecture.
โ€ข 4+ years of experience with Databases.
โ€ข 4+ years of experience of Java/J2EE development.
โ€ข 3 years of development experience B2B.
โ€ข 4+ years of experience with middleware code migrations.
โ€ข Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management.
Skillsets:
โ€ข Must have hands-on experience with production deployment and post production support.
โ€ข Must have experience developing sprint boot service.
โ€ข Working experience on both On-Premise and Cloud-Hub environments.
โ€ข Knowledge of various integration concepts including: Business-to-Business (B2B), platform-to-platform and EDI Trading Partner Integration development.
โ€ข Must have strong experience on various middleware technologies, Oracle adapters, JMS, AQ.
โ€ข Good exposure to Github, Subversion or other versioning tools.
โ€ข Must have experience in JAVA and spring.
โ€ข Good understanding of data formats like XML, JSON, EDI, CSV, NVP
โ€ข Good understanding of integration technologies like HTTP, XML/XSLT, dataweave, JMS, JDBC, REST, SOAP, WebServices and APIs.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a field related
Additional Qualifications:
โ€ข Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and guidance.
โ€ข Ability to communicate effectively to all layers of business and management.
โ€ข Real-world experience helping define integration solutions.
โ€ข Good exposure to webservice/ API security.
โ€ข Developing Mule services is a value add for this role.
