Position Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation and successful delivery of technical solutions for complex problems using Artificial Intelligence, Java, React, AWS, SQL and Pega. Work on new software, systems, infrastructure, hardware, networking or automation improvements, or a refactoring of existing solutions. Deliver technology solutions which improve engineering and operational processes. Own systems, proactively identify and mitigate extant risks and deficiencies. Improve consistency and integration between the services. Improve the architecture, not just components or services, and make informed tradeoffs between tactical and strategic concerns at team or service level. Lead reviews of architecture, design, operations, process, or post-incident analyses. Participate in system reviews. Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business objectives and define technical direction. Hire, guide, lead, and develop a team of engineers.
40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range: $166,300/year to $225,000/year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Position Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and two years of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) providing technical leadership, project management, and operations leadership for systems engineering for an Internet service or leading-edge IT organization; (2) hands-on experience in systems engineering and administrative work in networking, storage systems, and operating systems; (3) applying Agile software development methodology and Agile engineering practices including Kanban and continuous delivery; and (4) managing a system or software development team including human capital management, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, coaching, promotions, and terminations, as well as providing technical, non-technical, and administrative support.#0000
