In this role, you will serve as a senior Metadata Ingestion Analyst and a key liaison between technical IT teams and non-technical program staff. You will help teams define business and technical glossary standards that support reporting and strategic decision-making across complex data sources in a regulated environment.
Position Overview:
  • Act as a senior Metadata Ingestion Analyst and critical liaison between technical IT and non-technical program staff.
  • Evaluate complex technical data sources and support teams in determining business and technical glossary definitions.
  • Translate metadata acquisition and operational requirements into clear, actionable access paths for data glossaries supporting analytics.
  • Communicate technical findings and data limitations in plain language to end-users and leadership.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years experience gathering business requirements and translating complex metadata acquisitions and operational requirements into clear, actionable access paths for data glossaries for complex analytics
  • 8+ years experience explaining technical findings and data limitations in simple, non-technical language to end-users and leadership
  • 8+ years experience in a complex data analysis, senior business/systems analyst, and/or data liaison role
  • Strong experience with SQL for data extraction, manipulation and enrichment
  • Experience collaborating with end-users and performance analysts or IT internal leaders to create and validate glossaries for analytics development and business data lineage analysis
