Position Summary:
Responsible for processing, maintenance and security of medical records
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
  • Provides accurate and efficient management of medical records
  • Provides timely management of ADR, TPL, Attorney and other record requests
  • Assists with ordering and stocking supplies and equipment for the department
  • Provides back-up for other support positions in the Medical Records Department
  • Adheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance

Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • 2-3 years of work related experience
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of systems required to maintain and archive medical records
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Business Office Environment with phone and computer use
