Job description

Position Summary:

The Shipping Associate II will be a point of contact to help instruct all new, temporary, and fulltime staff members with general questions and job methods. The Manufacturing Associate II is a point person to share information amongst team members within department from senior manufacturing associates, supervisors, and upper management. The Shipping Associate II will ensure that their designated areas remain organized with essential supplies and that every workstation is uniformly functional. During non-peak times, the Shipping Associate II functions as a shipping specialist, sorting, matching, packing, and shipping orders.

1st Shift: 9:00am - 5:30pm (peak schedule varies)

Pay Rate: $16.50 hourly

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Instruct and support new, temporary, and full-time staff members.
  • Assist with tracking orders to ensure timely service for our customers.
  • Keep the supervisor updated on the workflow status throughout the shift.
  • Provide honest feedback on the performance of team members to the supervisor.
  • Report any personnel conflicts or issues to the supervisor.
  • Foster positive and cooperative relationships among team members.
  • Manage inventory by filling and requesting supplies for the department or assigned area.
  • Ensure that the staff cleans and sanitizes the area at the end of each shift, following PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines.
  • Emphasize the importance of attendance and punctuality, setting an example for others as a Manufacturing Associate II.
  • Sorting & matching orders.
  • Packing & shipping orders.
  • Report to the Department Supervisor.

The expected salary range for this position is $16.50/hour. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
