The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00

Last Mile Operations at Target is responsible for moving E-Commerce shipments from our unique Omnichannel fulfillment network to our Guests' homes as well as supporting the growth of a variety of digital marketplace strategies. Target continues to focus on ways to increase speed to guests, enable new digital capabilities, and drive top line growth for the business. Servicing logistics and transportation of a large scale, distributed network with high volumes means simultaneous attention to day-to-day detail as well as the ability to step back and think strategically to drive change within Target and with our carriers to provide a best-in-class Guest experience.
As a Sr. Logistics Analyst, you will manage strategies that support guest delivery experience, sales, and profitability objectives through both Target Last Mile Delivery and Same Day Delivery businesses. You will monitor supply chain performance using data and metrics and perform complex data analysis to identify the root cause of defects. You will demonstrate intellectual curiosity, streamlining and simplifying complex business processes through technology innovation, and developing solutions that scale. This will require working with both internal and external partners across operations, product, safety, legal, and other critical teams. You will advocate for decisions based on what is good for Target holistically and act as agents for change instead of accepting the status quo. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations across Target's sortation center and stores network and working with carriers to support planning and execution. This will require working across multiple teams and driving clear and timely communication with key partners.
Travel up 25% of the time.
About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years operational management experience
  • Experience influencing upwards and presenting to leadership (Director, Senior Director, VP levels)
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills

  • Can make decisions with little to no guidance from manager or other leaders

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
