Job Description
The Logistics Manager will lead initiatives to optimize P2P, OTC & Supply Chain workflows as well as focus on supply chain execution activities supporting crop nutrients supply and go-to market teams. Provide strategic direction on all Crop Nutrient Supply Chain initiatives, as well as focus on the continuous improvement of supply chain support processes, onboarding programs, and employee development. Develop, document, and implement standardized business processes and formalize continuous cross-functional training programs for current staff and new Business Operations/supply chain support staff. Implement solutions that focus on increasing automation, reducing costs to serve, and improving overall customer experience. Provide leadership and direction to sales, supply, S&OP and S&OE team members on activities that impact customers and suppliers. Manage scorecard and ensure alignment to KPIs and operational metrics for crop nutrients product line. PowerBI reporting analysis and maintenance. Analyze processes to identify areas of improvement. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external customers and suppliers to promote sales results. Support customer and supplier visits to understand their needs and requirements to successfully eliminate any duplicate work. Apply LEAN or continuous improvement methodology to implement changes to current state processes. Advocate and implement change management best practices. Provide documentation and support for financial audits. This position requires only little domestic travel, up to 24% of the time. Position allows working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Supervise 15 subordinates: Representative, Technical Customer Support Senior (13 Members); Representative, Technical Customer Support Expert (2 Members). Annual salary between $133,557 - $143,700.
Job Requirements
Requires at least a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Must possess 2 years (24 months) of experience with all of the following: (a) process improvement with Kaizen; (b) collecting baseline data (c) using Lean A3 problem solving; (d) utilizing interactive, real-time data visualizations using PowerBI; (e) identifying and monitoring supply chain trends and gaps; (f) using Process Flow knowledge to visualize complex information, processes, and systems; (g) implementing technical solutions to build custom user interfaces; (h) implementing technical solutions to automate workflows and background tasks; (i) identifying and engaging stakeholders, including communicating project updates; (j) coordinating cross functional teams to align priorities, support execution and resolve operational issues and (k) utilizing all of the following: root cause analysis, value stream mapping, future state design, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience may be gained concurrently. This position requires only little domestic travel, up to 24% of the time. Position allows working from home within commuting distance of worksite location.
