Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Support risk, cost, schedule, and performance management of OFP and software development efforts using PMRT.
  • Coordinate tasks through DoD acquisition processes and assist with strategic planning, integration, and program evaluations.
  • Prepare clear, concise status briefings for senior leadership and support major program reviews, inspections, and milestone events.
  • Provide advanced knowledge of F-16 avionics, weapons systems, sensors, and subsystem integration.
  • Support OFP requirements definition, MNFP cost-sharing processes, and pilot-vehicle interface development.
  • Assist with analysis of warfighter requirements and advise Division leadership on capability trades.
  • Support test strategy development, including accelerated test concepts for UONs.
  • Participate in planning, coordination, and execution of test activities for software upgrades, sensors, and advanced avionics.
  • Maintain effective communication with government offices, contractor teams, higher headquarters, foreign partners, and engineering groups.
  • Support transition and stand-up of organic F-16 software development capability, and coordinate work-share between LM Aero and OO-ALC.
  • Support requirements, coordination, and execution of programs involving foreign military partners.
  • Assist in integrating international needs into F-16 USAF and MNFP processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • MS/PhD in a Related Discipline (IRD) + 10 years relevant experience (5 years DoD); OR
  • BA/BS in a Related Discipline (IRD) + 12 years relevant experience (5 years DoD); OR
  • 15 years relevant experience + applicable Certifications (including 8 years DoD)
