Opportunity: Senior Key Holder – Ace Hardware of Aurora

Are you looking for a part-time leadership role where you can make a real impact? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and take pride in the details? If so, we’d love to have you join our team at Ace Hardware of Aurora, your local hardware store that feels like home.

We’re seeking a Senior Key Holder to help lead our store operations, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth daily functioning. This role is perfect for someone who brings retail experience, enjoys being hands-on, and is looking for a flexible schedule of 20–25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store, ensuring security and operational readiness.
  • Support daily operations including sales floor supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Train, delegate, and provide guidance to team members.
  • Maintain store standards with a strong attention to detail.
  • Deliver exceptional service to every customer, every time.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience (hardware experience a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and customer-service focused.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of your shift.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Schedule
  • 20–25 hours per week.
  • 5–8 hour shifts.
  • Weekend availability required.
