Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is a leading third party logistics provider (3PL) that offers a broad scope of services throughout the entire supply chain. LINC's experienced management team, with its state-of-the-art technology, provides customized logistics solutions to its customers resulting in proven efficiencies and savings.

Our operation is based in Ankeny, IA and supports John Deere. We manage and operate their warehouse facility, providing pickandpack, sequencing, and inventory management support.

Shifts Available:

2nd shift: Monday - Friday from 2:00pm - 11:00pm

3rd shift: Monday - Friday from 10:00pm - 7:00am

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead a small team to complete picks, carryover putaways, and scheduled work accurately and safely.
  • Oversee trailer processing, including unloading inbound trailers and ensure delivery timelines are met.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and safety; address issues in real time and keep the floor running smoothly.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members; reinforce standards and accountability.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound flow; partner with other shifts for clean handoffs and quick issue resolution.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, auditready work area; enforce company policies and safety expectations.
  • Complete daily shift reports (labor, workflow, productivity) and communicate status to leadership.
  • Support continuous improvement (5S, standard work, error reduction) to increase efficiency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred; equivalent experience also considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic warehouse systems.
  • Strong problemsolving ability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and a teamfirst attitude.
  • 0-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or transportation operations.
