Bilingual Life Insurance Operations Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA

Work Model: Hybrid - In-Office Tue – Thu

Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead Life Insurance operations for a strategic client. This role owns delivery governance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across policy administration and financial operations in a regulated environment. Deep Life & Annuities expertise, Infosys McCamish platform proficiency, and bilingual fluency in Spanish or Portuguese are mandatory requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Client Governance — Manage SLAs, risks, and executive reporting; partner with senior client stakeholders to shape the operational roadmap and resolve issues with clear root-cause actions.
  • Operations Excellence — Standardize and improve SOPs to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and audit readiness; enforce financial controls and proactively close control gaps.
  • Platform & Technology — Leverage the Infosys McCamish platform to optimize throughput and compliance; pilot and scale analytics, RPA, and GenAI tools with appropriate controls.
  • People & Performance — Lead a cross-functional team through goal-setting, coaching, and data-driven performance reviews; build domain depth via structured learning and LOMA pathways.
  • Change Management — Execute structured change initiatives for enhancements, new products, and regulatory updates, ensuring smooth transitions and BAU handoffs.
  • Compliance & Improvement — Maintain regulatory compliance and audit evidence; drive a continuous improvement pipeline informed by defect analysis, VOC, and control results.
  • Reporting & Insights — Translate operational metrics to P&L impact; maintain a leadership dashboard and frame investment cases for automation and AI with ROI trade-offs.
  • Training & Knowledge — Keep SOPs, playbooks, and training materials current; deliver structured training for internal teams and client stakeholders on process changes.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Life Insurance operations management across the Life & Annuities value chain, including policy administration and financial controls.
  • Track record managing senior client stakeholders and owning outcomes in a regulated environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese — mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate operational data into financial insights.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Life Insurance operations management across the Life & Annuities value chain, including policy administration and financial controls.
  • Track record managing senior client stakeholders and owning outcomes in a regulated environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese — mandatory.
