OVERVIEW

Propel, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager (Senior Living/ Senior Care vertical) to join their team in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Client & Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for multiple middle market and large accounts handling renewals, submissions, and client expectations.
  • Client/ Book Focus: Senior Living/ Senior Care
  • Policy & Endorsement Processing: Review carrier quotes, prepare proposals, process endorsements, premium audits, and COI compliance issues in collaboration with Producers.
  • Billing & Invoicing: Manage complex invoicing (installments, rolling deposits), resolve billing questions, and secure past-due premiums.
  • Compliance & Contract Review: Conduct contract/lease reviews, complete Surplus Lines filings, and ensure compliance with carrier requirements.
  • System & Workflow Management: Utilize company systems (Sagitta, Indio, OneDoc) to streamline processes and prioritize workload.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and support Account Assistants, Account Specialists in policy analysis and market knowledge.
  • Business Growth & Development: Identify cross-sell/account rounding opportunities and lead special projects working as a strategic team player.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years in the insurance industry with a valid state P&C Agent’s License.
  • College degree preferred; industry-related certifications required.
  • Experience working with large Senior Living/ Senior Care clients
  • Expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and agency management systems (AMS Sagitta, ImageRight experience is helpful).
    • Applied Epic- preferred/ a plus. 
  • Strong understanding of commercial lines, broad industry experience, and technical coverage expertise.
  • Professional, solution-oriented approach with excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, team player with strong time management and follow-up skills.
  • Advocates for workflow improvements and organizational efficiency.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This role is expected to be performed onsite in our Atlanta, Georgia.

The salary range is between $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually (depending on experience).
