At-Bay helps its 35,000+ customers close their security technology and skills gap - all through their cyber insurance policy - making them less likely to be hit with a ransomware attack. As a full-stack insurance company, At-Bay offers multiple lines of specialty insurance, including Cyber, Tech E&O, and Miscellaneous Professional Liability (MPL) policies.

  • Support and grow At-Bay's core wholesale broker relationships while delivering a high level of service and responsiveness.
  • Underwrite and grow a book of business, helping to achieve profitability and risk goals.
  • Evaluate, price, and negotiate coverage terms and conditions for new and renewal business in alignment with underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.
  • Review and analyze risks within At-Bay's underwriting guidelines and maintain accurate underwriting documentation.
  • Partner with senior underwriters, cyber analytics, product, marketing, and other internal teams to deliver strong broker and client outcomes.
  • Contribute to underwriting process improvements by working with technology and data teams on tools and workflow enhancements.
Attributes and Qualifications
  • Approximately 1-3 years of underwriting experience in cyber liability and Tech E&O or specialty commercial insurance.
  • Solid understanding of specialty commercial underwriting principles and insurance industry practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex risks.
  • Comfortable working with technology and data-driven underwriting tools.
  • Technical aptitude; familiarity with concepts such as DNS, IP addresses, ports, databases, and networking is a strong plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with brokers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player who is eager to learn, contribute, and support the broader team.
