Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to oversee and grow a designated book of business. This role involves delivering exceptional service to clients, managing all aspects of the policy lifecycle, and working collaboratively with Producers and Account Executives to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective commercial clients.
  • Partner closely with Producers and Account Executives to understand client needs and deliver tailored insurance solutions.
  • Manage all aspects of commercial accounts, including marketing new business, processing renewals, and evaluating coverage options and risk exposure.
  • Conduct coverage comparisons, perform contract reviews, and negotiate terms with carriers as needed.
  • Oversee invoicing, documentation, and internal workflows to ensure accurate and timely account processing.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the agency management system.
  • Support other team initiatives and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience managing commercial insurance accounts (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with AMS360 is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and interest in mentoring others
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative mindset
