Personal Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join a team. In this role, you will independently manage an assigned book of personal lines insurance business, ensuring exceptional customer service and tailored solutions for clients. You will work closely with clients, insurance carriers, and agency partners to deliver professional and timely service while contributing to the growth and success of the agency.
Compensation Package
Offering a competitive annual salary that is reviewed periodically during performance evaluations. Additionally, you will be eligible for monthly commissions on new business generated, in accordance with agency guidelines. This compensation structure is designed to reward outstanding service, client retention, and contributions to the agency's growth.
Responsibilities
  • Handle new business marketing for qualified personal lines opportunities.
  • Manage policy renewals and initiate re-marketing efforts to ensure competitive coverage and pricing.
  • Issue and bind new and renewal policies in compliance with agency procedures.
  • Perform detailed policy and endorsement checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide comprehensive policy servicing for assigned clients, including processing changes, handling requests, and updating documentation.
  • File auto claims for specific carriers and guide insured clients in filing claims directly with others.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs within the agency management system (AMS360).
  • Deliver timely, courteous, and professional service via phone, email, and written communication.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Client Retention: Maintain an annual client retention rate of 90% by minimizing policy cancellations, non-renewals, and lapses (excluding uncontrollable factors such as relocation, death, or underwriting withdrawal).
  • New Business Growth: Contribute to agency growth by achieving an annual increase of 5% in personal lines policies/accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Proven experience in personal lines insurance account management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using agency management systems (experience with AMS360 is a plus).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
