Sr. HR Project Manager Summary

As our Sr. HR Project Manager, youโ€™ll lead cross-functional HR initiatives aligned to global HR strategic priorities, providing project leadership, governance, and execution discipline across HR structure optimization, compensation priorities, HR technology, process improvement, and HR operating model transformation. Youโ€™ll manage multiple projects, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and ensure key HR initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with meaningful business impact.

Role Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement full-scale HR project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, roles & responsibilities, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Project Execution: Run the projects, manage teams, track progress, and ensure the project delivers expected outcomes within scope, time, and budget.
  • Project Communication: Effectively communicate project status to stakeholders in a timely manner and clear fashion.
  • Project Tools & Documentation: Utilize effective PM tools & technology to execute projects. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirement documentation, and presentations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with global HR teams, cross functional teams, and external vendors to ensure the projectโ€™s success. You will coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and influence them to ensure the projectโ€™s success.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices through project postmortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Project Transition: Ensure projects are successfully transitioned to operational support with necessary documentation, process updates, and training.
  • Project Management Capability Building: Establish and promote HR project management standards, tools, governance, templates, and best practices to create a consistent framework that enables successful project execution across the global HR organization.

TRAVEL: Up to 10%, ability to travel domestically and internationally if/when required

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, HR, computer science or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in HR project management
  • Knowledge of project management applications (for example: Microsoft Project)
  • Skillful knowledge and use of MS Office tools, Jira
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or global HR M&A-related certifications.
  • Experience working in a global, matrix manufacturing organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with project management in deploying Workday Mergers & Acquisition PM experience
  • Knowledge of industry standard project management methodology and experience or familiarity with PMBoK, SDLC, Agile or related disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional HR projects in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, organize complex work, and drive execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of HR processes, systems, and service delivery models.

Annual Salary Range: $92,400-115,500. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
