Job description

Description:

The Senior Growth Marketing Specialist is a high-ownership individual contributor responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads, increase engagement, support event registrations, and contribute to new-business pipeline across the EMS|MC family of brands. This role is designed for an ambitious marketer who is ready to move beyond executing isolated tactics and take greater ownership of complete campaign strategies and results.

The ideal candidate has several years of hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform and understands how email, web, paid media, social media, content, and events work together. This person will partner closely with the Marketing Operations Specialist to execute multi-channel campaigns. The Senior Growth Marketing Specialist will focus on campaign strategy, messaging, coordination, campaign activation, performance interpretation, and continuous improvement.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

Growth Campaign Strategy & Management

  • Integrated Campaign Planning: Develop and manage integrated campaign plans for webinars, events, thought leadership, major content releases, and other business priorities.
  • Campaign Brief Development: Define campaign objectives, target audiences, key messages, offers, channel mix, timelines, calls to action, and success measures.
  • Omnichannel Coordination: Coordinate email, website, social media, paid media, content, event, and sales-enablement activities so each campaign operates as a connected program.
  • Cross-Brand Alignment: Help organize and prioritize concurrent campaigns across multiple brands, subject-matter experts, and business priorities to reduce audience overlap and maximize impact.
  • Campaign Ownership: Maintain campaign timelines, identify dependencies, follow up with contributors, and proactively address risks that could delay launch or weaken results.

Demand Generation & Performance Optimization

  • Demand Generation: Develop campaigns intended to increase marketing-qualified leads, content engagement, event registrations, conversions, and marketing-influenced pipeline.
  • Performance Analysis: Use HubSpot and other available reports to evaluate campaign performance, identify patterns, and recommend improvements.
  • Testing & Optimization: Recommend and coordinate tests of audiences, messages, offers, subject lines, calls to action, landing pages, and channel mix.
  • Paid Media Support: Support targeted paid campaigns on channels such as LinkedIn and Google by developing audiences, messaging, creative requirements, budgets, and performance recommendations.
  • Business Reporting: Summarize results, insights, and recommended next steps for the Head of Marketing and other business stakeholders.

Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution

  • HubSpot Campaign Management: Use HubSpot to set up and manage campaigns, create and quality-check emails, segment audiences, organize campaign assets, and monitor engagement.
  • Lifecycle & Nurture Programs: Define nurture objectives, content sequence, timing, and audience logic, then partner with the Marketing Operations Specialist on complex workflows, lead routing, scoring, integrations, and reporting.
  • Campaign Quality Assurance: Test campaign links, forms, lists, personalization, landing-page content, tracking parameters, and user journeys before launch.
  • Campaign Copy Development: Write and edit concise promotional copy for emails, landing pages, advertisements, social posts, event promotions, and sales-support materials.
  • Digital Content Optimization: Use SEO recommendations and website-performance insights to inform campaign content, landing-page briefs, and optimization priorities.

Content & Contributor Coordination

  • Content Activation: Coordinate the launch and ongoing promotion of reports, white papers, webinars, videos, and other high-value content throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Creative Coordination: Use campaign briefs to coordinate internal contributors and outside vendors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Client Success, Events, and subject-matter experts to gather inputs, align on goals, and move work through review and approval.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Competencies

  • Growth Mindset: Uses feedback and failure as data for improvement
  • Ownership & Resourcefulness: Takes initiative, follows through, solves problems, and is comfortable moving work forward with limited direction.
  • Strategic-to-Tactical Thinking: Understands how marketing channels and platforms work together and can move comfortably between planning, coordination, and hands-on execution.
  • Analytical Curiosity: Uses data to ask better questions, identify opportunities, and improve future campaigns.
  • Collaborative Project Management: Builds alignment across contributors and communicates clearly about expectations, deadlines, decisions, and results.

What Success Looks Like

  • Integrated campaigns launch on time with clear audiences, messages, channel plans, calls to action, and measurement goals.
  • Marketing programs measure engagement, conversions, event registrations, MQLs, and pipeline contribution.
  • HubSpot campaigns and routine marketing-automation activities are organized, accurate, tested, and used consistently.
  • Co-collaborators receive clear strategic direction and the information needed to execute efficiently.
  • Campaign performance is reviewed consistently, and insights are translated into specific recommendations and next actions.
Requirements:

Required Education, Skills, & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a similar field, or comparable relevant experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, demand generation, integrated marketing, campaign management, or a related field.
  • At least two years of hands-on experience using HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform to support campaigns, email marketing, audience segmentation, automation, and performance measurement.
  • Experience developing or coordinating multi-channel campaigns across email, web, social media, content, paid media, webinars, or events.
  • Ability to understand campaign data, identify meaningful trends, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, concise promotional messaging for different audiences and channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, contributors, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing concepts such as audience segmentation, conversion funnels, landing pages, lead nurturing, paid media, and campaign attribution.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership while asking thoughtful questions when guidance is needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in English is necessary for job-related communication, including understanding policies, writing correspondence, and engaging with colleagues or clients.

Preferred Education, Skills, & Experience

  • HubSpot certification or deeper experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, including Campaigns, email, lists, forms, workflows, social tools, and dashboards.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM and understanding how marketing activity connects to leads, opportunities, and pipeline.
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing, healthcare, EMS, public-sector, SaaS, professional-services, or regulated-industry campaigns.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, or another paid-media platform.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO principles, UTM tracking, website content management, and conversion optimization.
  • Basic experience coordinating video, design, webinar, or other multimedia assets.
