Job description

About Poshmark
Poshmark is the leading fashion marketplace where style comes alive through discovery, self-expression, and human connection. Powered by a vibrant community of 165 million members, Poshmark brings real people and taste to shopping through a social experience shaped by shared discovery. Buying and selling fashion feels simple, joyful, and personal, while every item tells its own story. Poshmark empowers sellers to grow meaningful businesses, keeps fashion in circulation longer, and gives shoppers access to unique and trusted finds, from everyday pieces to one-of-a-kind vintage and luxury.
Poshmark is seeking a Senior Growth Product Manager to drive high-impact, data-informed growth across the marketplace. This role will initially focus on new user onboarding and early lifecycle experiences, with the opportunity to expand into broader growth opportunities over time, including engagement, retention, and monetization.
You will be responsible for identifying and scaling the highest leverage growth opportunities across the user journey. This includes optimizing first touch experiences, accelerating activation, and improving long-term retention. Over time, you will flex across surfaces and problems as priorities evolve.
This role is for a builder who thrives in ambiguity, brings strong analytical rigor, and takes full ownership of outcomes from problem definition through execution.
Responsibilities:
  • Own and improve key growth funnels across the user lifecycle, with an initial focus on new user onboarding and early activation for buyers and sellers
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact growth opportunities using quantitative analysis, user research, and experimentation
  • Lead a high-velocity experimentation program across onboarding, discovery, engagement, and retention surfaces
  • Design and analyze experiments with strong statistical rigor, and translate results into clear product decisions and roadmap direction
  • Conduct and synthesize user research to understand motivations, behaviors, and drop-off drivers across the funnel
  • Apply principles of customer psychology, habit formation, and behavioral economics to inform product design and optimization
  • Define and maintain core growth metrics, dashboards, and KPI frameworks to ensure visibility and alignment across teams
  • Partner closely with design, engineering, data, and marketing to deliver high-quality, scalable growth initiatives
  • Communicate strategy, insights, and trade-offs clearly to senior leadership with a focus on business impact
  • Communicate roadmap strategy, experiment results, and investment trade-offs to senior leadership with precise business impact framing, clear assumptions, and well-reasoned recommendations.

6-Month Accomplishments:
  • Audit the new user journey for buyers and sellers, identifying key friction points and opportunities through data and research
  • Establish a clear activation framework, including key metrics, instrumentation, and shared dashboards
  • Launch and iterate on experiments targeting the highest impact onboarding and activation gaps
  • Define activation milestones and outline a roadmap to reduce time to value

12+ Month Accomplishments:
  • Deliver measurable improvements in key growth metrics, including activation, retention, and engagement across the user lifecycle
  • Expand ownership beyond onboarding to additional growth surfaces such as discovery, re-engagement, and monetization
  • Establish a consistent experimentation engine with a strong pipeline of ideas and documented learnings
  • Improve time to key user actions such as first listing, first purchase, and first offer
  • Develop and socialize a growth playbook including frameworks, metrics, and best practices adopted across the organization

Required Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of experience in product management, with a significant portion dedicated to growth-specific functions.
  • Proven track record of driving product-led growth in a consumer or marketplace environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in experimentation, funnel analysis, and data-driven decision making
  • Ability to operate across a wide range of problem spaces, from onboarding to retention and beyond
  • Experience applying user research and behavioral insights to product design
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
