What does this role do at HCPro?
The Associate eLearning Developer is a part of our dynamic eLearning Production team and plays an integral role in designing, producing, and maintaining high-quality eLearning courses, instructor-led training, and related content. This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and a collaborative spirit to develop engaging learning experiences that align with project goals and timelines.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Utilize tools such as Adobe Audition, Articulate Storyline, and other design software to:
    • Sync audio with visual elements,
    • Design and customize layouts,
    • Edit course content, and
    • Publish and deliver eLearning courses and related assets.
  • Manage the Request for Files queue by preparing and distributing editable course materials and source files to instructors and reviewers during the content review process.
  • Coordinate audio production activities, including preparing narration scripts, generating AI voiceovers, reviewing audio quality, and integrating audio assets into eLearning projects.
  • Manage the Quick Fix Jira queue by reviewing requested updates, communicating with instructors and stakeholders as needed, implementing content revisions, and republishing updated course materials.
  • Collaborate effectively with voice-over talent, content development teams, external subject matter experts (SMEs), and eLearning team members to ensure the timely delivery of eLearning materials.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance testing to identify and resolve technical or content-related issues.
  • Proactively communicate issues and propose solutions to improve processes or outcomes.
  • Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to achieve project objectives.
  • Stay organized and adaptable, managing multiple projects while accommodating shifting priorities with minimal notice.
  • Support the team with additional projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Strong aptitude for quickly learning new software and tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to independently research and troubleshoot technology and content-related issues.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
