Precise Systems is seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer - Logistics Product Data SME to provide engineering leadership, In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) support, and Integrated Product Support expertise to our NSWC Crane customer. The engineer will lead product-support activities across engineering, logistics, production, test, configuration management, and technical data teams to improve system readiness, maintainability, and lifecycle sustainment.
This role requires in-person support.
Duties:
  • Lead and prioritize product-support activities, technical actions, risks, schedules, and deliverables across the JCREW and Drake programs.
  • Serve as a senior ISEA technical resource for fielded Electronic Warfare systems, including sustainment, troubleshooting, modification, and readiness support.
  • Lead the generation, analysis, validation, configuration control, and maintenance of Logistics Product Data (LPD), including maintenance plans, SERD, PTD, IPLs, and reliability and maintainability data.
  • Assess maintenance concepts, levels of repair, provisioning requirements, spare-parts needs, supportability risks, and lifecycle support impacts.
  • Develop and coordinate support-equipment requirements, designs, testing, production, deployment, and sustainment with engineering, production, logistics, and technical-data teams.
  • Provide mechanical engineering support for hardware and support-equipment design, modeling, drawings, materials, manufacturability, and production-readiness activities.
  • Conduct or lead material, component, and system failure analyses and coordinate corrective actions with production facilities, suppliers, OEMs, and Government stakeholders.
  • Evaluate Engineering Change Proposals, deviations, and waivers for impacts to LPD, maintenance, technical manuals, training, provisioning, support equipment, and system baselines.
  • Oversee Technical Data Packages, engineering drawings, technical manuals, provisioning data, Configuration Control Board support, and Functional or Physical Configuration Audit preparation.
  • Mentor engineering and logistics personnel and provide technical justification supporting critical spares, sustainment funding, and product-support decisions.

Desired Education:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.

Desired Experience:
  • Ten (10) years of relevant engineering experience, including senior-level product support, ISEA, sustainment engineering, maintenance engineering, or Integrated Product Support responsibilities.
  • Senior-level experience supporting fielded Electronic Warfare or comparable complex military systems.
  • Subject-matter expertise in generating, analyzing, reviewing, and managing Logistics Product Data.
  • Experience with maintenance plans, support-equipment data, provisioning documentation, parts lists, reliability and maintainability products, and spare-parts planning.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary product-support activities across engineering, logistics, production, test, configuration management, and technical-data organizations.
  • Mechanical engineering experience involving hardware design, modeling, engineering drawings, materials, support equipment, manufacturing, or production support.
  • Experience conducting failure analysis and developing technically supported corrective-action recommendations.
  • Extensive configuration-management experience, including ECPs, deviations, waivers, technical baselines, CCBs, and configuration audits.
  • Experience developing and reviewing Technical Data Packages, engineering drawings, technical manuals, and provisioning data.
  • Strong technical-writing, analytical, briefing, leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, NAVSEA, NSWC Crane, or an Army product-manager organization.
  • Direct experience supporting JCREW, Drake, or comparable Electronic Warfare and force-protection systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAE GEIA-STD-0007 Logistics Product Data requirements.
  • Experience with Support Equipment Recommendation Data, Provisioning Technical Documentation, Indentured Parts Lists, and maintenance-task analysis.
  • Familiarity with SAE EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, MIL-STD-31000, MIL-HDBK-1390, and military technical-manual or provisioning requirements.
  • Experience with CAD or mechanical-modeling tools and production-facility or supplier oversight.
  • Experience developing technical justification for spare-parts procurement and sustainment funding.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
