Job description

Senior Manager / Development Accounting Lead Position Summary The Senior Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of development accounting activities and coordinate all financial reporting and compliance requirements associated with affordable housing development projects. Primary Responsibilities Manage engagement workflow and project timelines. Coordinate development accounting activities from pre-development through project completion.

Review project budgets, development cost schedules, and sources and uses statements. Assist in financial modeling and transaction analysis. Coordinate investor reporting and lender reporting requirements.

Monitor project expenditures and financing compliance requirements. Review supporting documentation for cost certification and tax credit calculations. Supervise accounting staff assigned to the engagement.

Participate in project status meetings and provide management updates. Qualifications CPA preferred. Minimum 7 years of accounting experience.

Experience with affordable housing, real estate development, or public housing accounting. Strong project management and analytical skills.
