Senior Manager / Development Accounting Lead
Position Summary
The Senior Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of development accounting activities and coordinate all financial reporting and compliance requirements associated with affordable housing development projects.
Primary Responsibilities
• Manage engagement workflow and project timelines.
• Coordinate development accounting activities from pre-development through project completion.
• Review project budgets, development cost schedules, and sources and uses statements.
• Assist in financial modeling and transaction analysis.
• Coordinate investor reporting and lender reporting requirements.
• Monitor project expenditures and financing compliance requirements.
• Review supporting documentation for cost certification and tax credit calculations.
• Supervise accounting staff assigned to the engagement.
• Participate in project status meetings and provide management updates.
Qualifications
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with affordable housing, real estate development, or public housing accounting.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
