This role ensures financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant with company procedures, client agreements, leases, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).The Senior Accountant manages key accounting activities including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, client reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and sales and use tax reporting. This position also works closely with Operations and regional General Managers to understand financial performance, analyze variances, prepare annual budgets, and address financial issues.This role is an important partner to both Accounting and Operations and is expected to identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and create greater efficiency and consistency as the company continues to grow.Interstate Parking is a rapidly growing managed parking solutions company headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with 500+ team members operating over 400 locations with more than 85,000 parking spaces in geographic markets from California to Vermont.
