Senior Desktop Support Technician

Our client, partnered with Randstad, is seeking a skilled Senior Desktop Support Technician to join their team in Washington, DC. This role requires a strong background in audio-visual technology, conference room equipment, and collaboration technologies like Microsoft Teams and Zoom. The ideal candidate will possess relevant engineering certifications and a proven track record in implementing audio-visual solutions for conference and situation rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate technical expertise in desktop support.
  • Utilize engineering certifications, particularly in audio-visual and conference room equipment such as Microsoft Surface HUB and PolyCom.
  • Implement and maintain audio-visual solutions for conference rooms and situation rooms.
  • Provide support for collaboration technologies including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Utilize strong troubleshooting skills to address technical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Manage projects related to desktop support and audio-visual implementations.
  • Coordinate with vendors to procure necessary equipment and services.
  • Apply ITIL principles to ensure efficient and effective support services.
  • Utilize Service-Now for ticketing and workflow management.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with internal teams and stakeholders.
