Job description

The Senior Credit Analyst will directly report to the Senior Credit Manager.ย  The position is responsible for managing credit risk and collections for domestic and export customers across multiple business units and entities (Arkema Inc., Bostik Inc., ArrMaz Products, Coatex Inc.). Responsibilities include resolving billing issues, monitoring credit hold queues, and ensuring compliance with credit policies, including engaging credit insurance providers as needed. Proficiency in SAP and High Radius systems is required, along with collaboration across internal teams to maintain cash flow and minimize risk. Special projects may be assigned by the Credit and Collections Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Aggressively pursue past-due accounts using High Radius Collections System to improve collection metrics and resolve aged billing issues promptly (50%)
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to identify and resolve disputes efficiently (20%)
  • Monitor the Order Worklist in High Radius Credit to secure payments on overdue balances. Complete required actions on Credit Worklist in accordance with credit policies, while demonstrating an understanding of business needs, obtaining business leader approvals when needed (20%)
  • Utilize the High Radius System to maintain customer information. Provide backup support across the credit/collections area as needed (10%)

Years of Experience

  • 7+ years of Finance/Credit Analyst exp with degree or 10+ of Finance/Credit Analyst exp without degree

Education and areas of focus

  • BS/BA in Finance or Accounting

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • The position has regular contact with business groups and outside customers, which requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to solve problems creatively and independently
  • The position must present a knowledgeable and professional image to various outside contacts
  • Proficiency in using SAP, High Radius and Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) required
  • A thorough knowledge of credit-related laws required
  • This position requires a high level of experience in all areas of credit management and demands a high level of integrity and trustworthiness

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

  • Hybrid schedule - minimum of 3 days in the office at the Arkema Radnor, PA location
  • Will occasionally require working additional hours outside of normal workday/work week to meet certain deadlines throughout the year. This may include some holidays to ensure compliance with reporting deadline requirements
