Job description

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Compensation: $110,000–$190,000 base salary, performance bonus, equity for strong candidates, and comprehensive benefits.

How to Apply

Think you're a great fit? We'd love to see your work.

Please send your resume, along with cover letter (explaining how you built past creator growth engines) to careers@bidbus.com subject line: (Director of Creator Growth & Creative Strategy). Also please include your target salary requirement, and your current city of residence.

About Bidbus

Bidbus is reinventing how people sell their cars.

Instead of negotiating with a single dealership, sellers list their vehicle on Bidbus and compete in a live auction where multiple licensed dealerships bid in real time. By creating a transparent marketplace, we're shifting pricing power back to consumers.

With over $18M raised, Bidbus is well-capitalized and scaling rapidly across multiple markets. As we expand nationally, we're building a brand that people genuinely enjoy talking about—not just another automotive marketplace.

The Role

We're looking for a Director of Creator Growth & Creative Strategy to build Bidbus's creator growth engine from the ground up.

This is not a traditional influencer marketing role. You'll define our creator strategy, develop breakthrough campaign concepts, and build partnerships with creators—from micro influencers to top-tier talent—to make creator-led growth a major customer acquisition channel.

You'll work directly with the CEO and collaborate closely with Growth, Product, Design, and Performance Marketing.

What You'll Do
  • Build Bidbus's creator and influencer growth strategy from 0→1.

  • Develop original campaign concepts, creative angles, and storytelling frameworks.

  • Identify and partner with the right creators across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.

  • Build scalable influencer, ambassador, affiliate, and long-term creator programs.

  • Lead campaigns from strategy through execution with internal teams, agencies, and creators.

  • Measure awareness, traffic, qualified seller leads, listings, and customer acquisition.

  • Repurpose high-performing creator content for paid channels when appropriate.

  • Over time, build and lead the creator growth function.

What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience in creator marketing, influencer marketing, creative strategy, brand, or growth.

  • Proven experience developing creator or influencer programs for a consumer company.

  • Strong creative instincts and a portfolio of standout creator campaigns.

  • Deep understanding of creator platforms, audiences, and partnership models.

  • Ability to connect creative ideas with measurable business outcomes.

  • Strategic thinker who is highly hands-on and comfortable building from zero.

Bonus Points

  • Marketplace, consumer tech, automotive, mobility, fintech, or DTC experience.

  • Experience building a creator function from scratch.

  • Experience with ambassador, affiliate, referral, or community programs.

  • Experience managing agencies or creator operations support.

Why Join Bidbus?

You'll have the opportunity to define how an entire category uses creators to drive growth.

Rather than inheriting an existing influencer program, you'll build the strategy, campaigns, partnerships, and operating system from the beginning.

Compensation Range: $150K - $190K
