A Brief OverviewThe Director, Creative & Brand Marketing ("DCBM") leads the development and execution of the JAMS brand and advertising efforts to grow brand awareness and support business growth. The DCBM is responsible for bringing the organization's brand positioning to life through effective campaigns and high-quality creative across marketing channels. The DCBM partners closely with company leadership to translate strategy into national and regional execution, ensuring creative and campaign efforts are aligned with strategic priorities. Moreover, the DCBM leads a team responsible for delivering creative and campaign execution, guiding internal resources and external partners to produce consistent, high-quality work.
Responsibilities
What you will do
  • Leads the evolution and application of the JAMS brand, partnering with marketing leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure messaging and positioning are consistently reflected in marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Oversees creative production operations, ensuring the team efficiently handles intake, prioritization, and delivery of all work.
  • Directs advertising strategy and execution, including media planning and buying, and leads the team to evaluate and improve program effectiveness across channels.
  • Leads the development of creative concepts and campaign assets, providing direction on high-priority initiatives, national and regional marketing campaigns.
  • Ensures brand standards are consistently upheld across all creative and marketing deliverables.
  • Leads and develops the brand team and external partners, providing direction, coaching, and support to drive strong performance, while enabling the team to manage day-to-day execution.
  • Owns and manages the budget for brand advertising and external creative partners, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Follows all of JAMS systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance from senior stakeholders and liaises with the Legal Team as necessary.
  • Handles various other duties as delegated by direct manager and senior management.
  • Other duties as assigned within a similar scope.

Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Design, Business, or related field. Required
  • 10+ years of experience in brand marketing, creative or advertising roles. Required
  • 5+ years of experience leading brand, creative or advertising teams. Required
  • 5+ years of experience managing agencies and high-volume creative production. Required
  • 5+ years of experience working in the legal or other professional services B2B industries. Plus
  • Proven understanding of brand strategy and how it translates into effective creative, messaging, and marketing assets. (Required proficiency)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and guide teams managing high-volume creative production and campaign execution. (Required proficiency)
  • Impactful creative judgment with the ability to evaluate design and copy against brand standards and campaign objectives. (Required proficiency)
  • Comprehensive understanding of advertising strategy, including media planning, buying, and campaign development across digital and traditional channels. (Required proficiency)
