Title : IT Trainer

Location : Fort Lauderdale, FL

They are a huge SAP shop so SAP can be one but they are not looking for career SAP trainers.

IT Training Specialist II:

Have experience developing training content for various software applications. For example, we're not looking for career SAP training developers. They need to have worked with various applications.

Must have experience learning software applications without limited access to resources (materials, SMEs, etc)

Understands and can apply the ADDIE process

Proactive and comfortable engaging technical team members/business stakeholders

I cannot stress enough that experience with content development for software is required. Training for soft skills, professional development, sales, etc. is a completely different ball game.

Must have experience creating print content (job aids, workbooks, quick reference guides, user guides, presentations). Not solely e-learning and videos.

The Senior Training Specialist's role is to create documentation to support training end users in the organization on how to use various types of software applications and solutions efficiently and effectively. This individual is responsible for designing, developing, and improving technical training programs and related courseware, including user job aids, and for coordinating with outside vendors as needed to supplement internal training materials and training delivery capabilities as needed.

Core Job Requirements

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including training and presentation skills

Experience in training design and delivery, including experience with computer-based training

Experience with desktop publishing tools, including experience creating and modifying graphic objects

Strong understanding of document formatting and presentation techniques Skill in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail

Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs

Experience Requirements

5 or more years of work experience

3 or more years of work experience in IT, including at least one year of experience in a training coordination role

Experience with training design and delivery, including experience with computer-based training
