The Senior Treasury Analyst will be a key contributor to Pursuit’s corporate finance team, reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager. We are seeking an individual who is looking to learn and grow professionally and personally. Cash is the life blood of any business, and this role will be highly involved in the daily cash desk duties, as well as strategic initiatives to help continue to drive growth in the business. A successful candidate will be proactive, organized and comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of work - from identifying the need, to designing the approach and then driving it across the finish line. You will have a passion for continuous improvement, strong data analysis and critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders.Key responsibilitiesOwn daily cash management activities, including reconciling prior day's cash balances, preparing current day cash position and initiating required paymentsMonitor and report global cash balances and prepare accurate cash accounting entriesEnsure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs and that cash is in the rights place to support the businessLead global, short term cash flow forecasting, using historical trends, system data and input from operations and finance teamsAnalyze forecast variances and make recommendations to improve the forecasting processTrack and report on debt instruments, including required principal and interest paymentsCollaborate closely with various departments to assist in cash reconciliations, month-end close and to resolve cash, banking, and payment issuesMaintain and lead day-to-day banking relationships, including acting as one of the company’s bank portal administratorsAssist with RFP, implementation and ongoing review of treasury products and servicesLead documentation management, including signatory updates, bank services changes, and KYC requirementsOperate as the subject matter export for, Kyriba, and continuously find ways to maximize the return on the systemWork with internal and external auditors to maintain an effective control environmentPerform other tasks or special projects as directedWhat success looks likeYou own day-to-day and project work from concept through completion, without needing step-by-step directionYou are proactive about “what’s next”, surfacing ideas and concerns early and brining thoughtful options to discuss with the Senior Treasury ManagerYou continually look for ways to increase pace and efficiency of daily tasks to create room for higher-impact project workYou prioritize your development, identify roadblocks to growth, and partner with the Senior Treasury Manager on how to address themThe successful candidate will have:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related fieldThree to five years of progressive finance/treasury experience, with demonstrated ownership of key treasury or cash processesStrong Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and reportingAn aptitude for numbers to include first time accuracy and vigilant attention to detailEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenThe ability to manage multiple projects, meet constant deadlines and work with confidential informationA self- s tarter approach with the ability to research problems and complete projects independentlyCertified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred but not requiredExperience with Kyriba or other treasury management systems is highly desirable#LI-KO1About Us:We're more than a hospitality and attractions company.
