Position Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will assist individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and personal choice.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, mobility support, transfers, positioning, and meal assistance
  • Encouraging social engagement, companionship, and emotional well-being
  • Assisting with household responsibilities including meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping
  • Supporting clients with behavior management, supervision, redirection, and goal-oriented activities when needed
  • Monitoring client safety and providing appropriate support throughout daily routines

  • Protecting client privacy and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Creating a supportive, respectful, and person-centered environment that promotes independence and self-determination
