Job description

Senior Applications Engineer

As part of a fast-moving team, the Senior Applications Engineer will report directly to the Design Engineering Director. The product focus is on MMIC amplifiers including LNAs, power amplifiers, and distributed wideband amplifiers. This role primarily supports products from their concept and early development phase through production release. Occasional support of the application team handling released products will be required. As such someone used to working in an R&D engineering environment will be well suited for the role. The role will be working mainly with the design engineers, engineering lab staff, and key customers. The engineering lab has an assembler and two technical associates as well as state of-the-art characterization equipment and probe stations.

Responsibilities

  • Technical lead in engineering lab testing of parts operating from 100Khz to 110GHz
  • Authoring and release of Advanced and Preliminary datasheets
  • Responsibility for review of DVT test plans and their execution
  •  Evaluation board development and characterization
  • Manage projects, support internal and external customers, work with design engineers and engineering lab operators and technical associates to execute work
