API Technical Writer
Location: Greensboro, NC – Onsite
Duration: 12 Months
 
We are seeking an experienced API Technical Writer to create, maintain, and improve API and developer documentation. The candidate will work closely with developers, service owners, solution experts, and marketing teams to ensure technical content is accurate, clear, consistent, and user-friendly.
 
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain API documentation, developer guides, and technical content.
Identify documentation gaps, outdated content, and opportunities for improvement.
Work with developers and SMEs to validate technical details and workflows.
Manage documentation updates from backlog through publication.
Support marketing teams with technically accurate solution briefs and web content.

Required Skills
Strong Technical Writing and API Documentation experience.
Understanding of REST APIs, software development, and integrations.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Experience with tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, Confluence, Markdown, or Git is preferred.
