Position Overview
Circle Logistics is seeking a driven Senior Account Manager to join our team. This role operates in a cradle-to-grave brokerage environment, meaning you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of your accounts-from prospecting and securing new customers to managing freight execution and maintaining long-term client relationships.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy sales environment, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in owning their accounts from the first call through successful load delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new shipper relationships through outbound outreach and networking
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of freight opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to closing new business
- Oversee day-to-day management of customer accounts and freight movements
- Coordinate with carriers and internal operations teams to ensure successful load execution
- Negotiate rates with both customers and carriers to maintain strong profit margins
- Provide exceptional customer service and proactive communication
- Grow and retain existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and expanding freight volume
- Monitor market conditions and provide strategic solutions to customers
