About the Role
Supervisor, Pharmacy-On Site
This position has a required schedule of 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM CST Monday through Friday and one Saturday per month.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise departmental personnel, which includes:
    • Orientation and training
    • Monitoring, scheduling, and determining workload
    • Delegating assignments
    • Evaluating performance (annually or as needed, in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager)
    • Supporting corrective and disciplinary actions
  • Implement and adhere to all SelectRx policies and procedures.
  • Participate in interviewing and evaluating candidates, and make recommendations for hiring, promotion, or discipline.
  • Coordinate and implement teamwork initiatives and support department quality improvement efforts.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
  • Speak clearly and persuasively in both positive and challenging situations.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).
  • Operate within professional standards and comply with all Federal, State, Local, and Business regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven conflict management and resolution skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate change and skillfully direct and motivate pharmacy staff.
  • High degree of interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management, associates, clients, and the general public.
  • Knowledge and understanding of pharmacy software.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.

Education and Experience
  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required for the state of Kansas
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registration
  • Associates assigned to the Olathe, KS Facility: Kansas State Pharmacist license required.

Financial Responsibilities (budget, revenue):
  • This position has no budget responsibility, authority and/or level of control.

Physical Requirements:
  • This position involves work in a production or warehouse environment and requires regular presence on the production floor.
  • The role requires:
  • At least 8 hours of standing and walking throughout the workday
  • Frequent movement between workstations and production areas
  • Reoccurring bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders
  • Use of hands and arms for handling, operating, or monitoring equipment
  • Ability to move, position, or transport materials or products weighing up to 15 pounds, with or without assistance
  • Extended periods of continuous standing at a computer or workstation
  • A high level of physical activity and stamina consistent with a production-floor environment.
