Job description

Titan Security is currently hiring a Security Supervisor to work at a location in Troy, Michigan.

Responsibilities of Security Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information.
  • Must be able to walk 5-10 miles per shift doing rounds.
  • Must have good working knowledge of computers, sending emails, logging information.
  • Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Monitor the assigned lots and conduct mobile patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.  
  • Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
  • Effectively utilize access control systems and CCTV systems as needed.
  • Ensure guests and vendors are properly greeted when entering the building.
  • Observe departing personnel to guard against theft.
  • Monitor security cameras that are within the facility.
  • Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management.
  • Various Admin Duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications of Security Supervisor:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have previous security supervisor experience.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Ohio Guard Card.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.

Preferred Qualifications of Security Supervisor:

  • Bi-lingual considered a plus.
  • Previous experience as a Security Supervisor.
