What is a security screener?

Security Screeners are professionals responsible for inspecting people, luggage, and cargo at airports, transportation hubs, and other secure facilities to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. They operate security equipment such as X-ray machines, metal detectors, and conduct manual searches when necessary. Their main goal is to prevent prohibited items, weapons, or dangerous substances from entering secure areas.
