Job description

Variable (United States of America)Security DispatcherThis individual answers and dispatches incoming calls to appropriate department. Monitors all surveillance cameras and alarm systems while assisting the security officers as required.

- High School Diploma or GEDequivalent required
- Answer all incoming calls for Environmental Services (E.S.).
- Dispatch all E.S. calls.
- Enter and close out E.S. work orders daily in the FSI work order system.
- Answer all incoming Security and Emergency calls.
- Dispatch all Security calls and enter them into the Security Dispatching Program.
- Monitor all surveillance cameras and V.C.R.'s.
- Monitor all alarm systems in the Dispatch Center and ensure that they are all in good working order.
- Report any equipment malfunction to supervisor.
- Provide security officers in the field with clear and complete information daily.
- Assist security officers in the field as needed.
- Answer and dispatch all incoming patient related phone calls.
- Maintain a working knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Answer and dispatch all calls for Patient Transportation.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all computer programs utilized in the dispatch operation.
- Report to work on time in proper uniform/attire.
- Always act professional and respond to personal inquiries in a thoughtful and friendly manner.
