Job description

Overview

Analyze, build, monitor and assess datasets from varying sources to support the Bank's strategic objectives. Gather business requirements to develop reports, analytics, and digital solutions, in alignment with requests from varying Departments. Monitor and maintain existing analytical solutions and workloads to ensure availability.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications
  • Develop Business Requirement Documents ("BRD"), Functional Requirement Documents ("FRD"), and data mapping documents based on gathered requirements, and present them to stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Build and deliver rich datasets, reports, and dashboards for diverse stakeholders, extracting and integrating data from multiple sources and formats (e.g., SQL, text, tabular, BLOB, JSON), and publishing organized content to Microsoft Fabric workspaces with stakeholder demonstrations.
  • Analyze data using tools such as SQL and Power BI to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights and effectively communicating data-driven narratives to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity by implementing validation rules and monitoring data flows, identifying and resolving data issues through root cause analysis, and supporting data quality validation and User Acceptance Testing ("UAT").
  • Independently manage end-to-end delivery of data solutions, from requirement gathering through to the development and deployment of data products.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or HS diploma with minimum 2 years of related experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an applied analytical role required; experience in data analytics within financial services preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL across multiple database platforms, including the ability to understand data relationships, write complex queries, analyze datasets, and interpret data to generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including developing reports and dashboards, and writing and interpreting DAX for data analysis and insights generation.Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents ("BRDs"), Functional Requirements Documents ("FRD", and Data Mapping documentation, along with the ability to develop data flows and process diagrams using Microsoft Visio required.
  • MS Office advanced knowledge specifically Excel (pivot tables, logic functions, lookups and complex formulas) required.
  • Professional experience with Python for data analysis or data science preferred.Experience with Microsoft Fabric SaaS, cloud platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or Dynamics), Snowflake, and SharePoint preferred.
  • Demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Position requires flexibility and willingness to be available to work generally during normal business hours, but can include early mornings (6am), evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will be required to prove on the first day of work that they are legally authorized to work in the U.S. The Bank will not sponsor a candidate for a visa or for work authorization.

COMPENSATION:  $75,000 to $110,000 annually
