Job description

This contract position calls for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with Medical-Surgical experience to deliver exceptional patient care and support the team's mission of high-quality service.
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license
  • At least one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing setting
  • Proficient clinical assessment, care planning, and patient monitoring skills
  • Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families
  • Current BLS certification (additional certifications may be preferred)
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and technology used for charting and patient management
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced Med Surg setting
  • Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and clinical responses to treatment
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update care plans
  • Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care plans
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant care environment adhering to all policies and procedures
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to changes in patient conditions and ensure timely interventions

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
