Looking to spend your May surrounded by great wine, beautiful scenery, and happy guests? Join Verde Canyon Railroadโ€™s Uncorked Wine Festival as a Wine Pourer. This one-month seasonal opportunity is perfect for those in the wine or hospitality industry who want to gain additional experience, connect with Arizona wines, and be part of a fun, guest focused event.


About the Event
The Uncorked Wine Festival is a month-long celebration of Arizonaโ€™s growing wine scene. Guests gather at the depotโ€™s shaded pavilion before their train departure to sip and sample a curated selection of reds, whites, and blush wines from across the state.


About the Role
As a Wine Pourer, you will be at the heart of the guest depot experience, welcoming visitors, sharing wines, and helping set the tone for a memorable day. You will have the chance to

  • Engage with guests in a fun, social environment
  • Pour and present a variety of Arizona wines
  • Share knowledge and enthusiasm for wine with guests
  • Be a part of a team that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere

Key Responsibilities
We are looking for individuals with prior wine experience who enjoy working with people and bring a positive, engaging energy. If you have a background in wine service, tasting rooms, or hospitality and a passion for sharing that knowledge, you will fit right in.


Schedule
Flexible availability throughout May is ideal, with event shifts during

Sunday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Saturdays
8:00 AM to 11:30 AM
1:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Requirements:
  • Experience in cafรฉ, restaurant, or hospitality environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, team-focused mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 pounds
