D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Senior Search Engine Optimization Manager (SEO). The right candidate is responsible for the strategy, execution, and performance of organic search initiatives across national and multi-market operations. This role oversees technical SEO, content strategy, and local search optimization to improve search visibility, increase qualified traffic, and support lead generation across all markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and implement enterprise SEO strategies across national, regional, and division-level priorities to support traffic and lead generation objectives

  • Establish scalable SEO frameworks to support multi-market operations, ensuring consistency, governance, and performance visibility

  • Oversee technical SEO, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, internal linking, and page performance optimization

  • Partner with web and technology teams to implement SEO best practices, including Core Web Vitals, structured data, and mobile optimization

  • Direct keyword and content strategies aligned to search intent, including national and local search optimization

  • Manage local SEO programs, including listings management, data accuracy, and optimization of local search visibility

  • Establish and maintain performance measurement frameworks, including KPI tracking, reporting, and attribution alignment

  • Analyze SEO performance across markets, identify gaps, and implement targeted optimization strategies to improve results

  • Collaborate with paid search, analytics, content, and CRM teams to align organic and paid search strategies

  • Manage external SEO vendors and maintain standards for execution, reporting, and performance

  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field

  • 7-10 years of SEO experience, including technical and content SEO

  • Experience managing SEO for enterprise or multi-location websites

  • Ability to translate search performance data into actionable strategies and improvements

  • Advanced knowledge of search engine optimization practices, technical SEO principles, and search ranking factors

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form or via DRH applications

  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision

  • The noise level is generally moderate
