Evolvics is looking for a Search Director to build out our presence within search engines and other performance media driven entities. Reporting directly to the Head of Search, this person's responsibilities will be to lead the planning, managing, optimizing and reporting on paid search campaigns in coordination with our in-house media strategists and user engagement teams to drive robust channel deliverables. It is expected this role will also closely interface with sister agencies to elevate the broader Syneos Health communications search offerings.

Areas of Focus

SEM: SEM is fundamental to our work and the right candidate will research, plan and execute SEM campaigns across our client portfolios, participate in RFPs, and evolve our search innovations. Own all areas of campaign development and optimization, from keyword and copy creation to bid management and KPI reporting.

AEO: Understand search engine algorithm shifts to AEO generated results and achieve sustainable success in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

Cross channel collaborations: Candidate should be experienced in working with cross functional media channels, understanding how search fits into the total integrated media strategy. Organic Search experience is a huge plus.

Intangibles: Lead, mentor and train members of the search team through a search professional development program. Develop and implement SOPs governing all aspects of best practice campaign development for the search department. Provide support to new business through industry analysis and search landscape estimation. Regularly author POVs to ensure the team is up to date on the latest search trends and engine algorithm updates.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in pharma or healthcare search strategy required
  • An established expertise in Search and a demonstrated passion for emerging performance media tactics, with knowledge of social and programmatic a plus
  • An ability to digest a client's strategic imperatives and translate it into a meaningful integrated search strategy
  • Familiarity with search tools such as SEMRush, Adthena, and SimilarWeb and a propensity for translating the competitive landscape into strategic insights
  • Experience optimizing and managing complex franchise search accounts, including multiple listing strategies and keyword prioritization scenarios.
  • You should have experience interacting directly with clients, building relationships and seeing great campaigns executed and reported on flawlessly
  • Certification in Google Ads, Google Analytics and Bing is strongly encouraged
  • Candidates should be free to travel as needed to support the business

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $150,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
