Are you an expert in Google Search Ads with a passion for creating impactful ad strategies? At Extra Space Storage, we're seeking a talented Digital Advertising Analyst to join our team and execute our Paid Search tactics.

If you're enthusiastic about digital advertising and eager to advance your skills, this hybrid role based at our headquarters in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, is perfect for you. As a Digital Advertising Analyst, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving paid search execution for 4,000+ facilities across the country. Whether you're tackling independent tasks or collaborating with a supportive team, each day will present new challenges and exciting opportunities!


Duties & Responsibilities

Campaign Building: Build out campaigns, ad groups, and keyword structures based on Sr. Analyst and Manager direction.

Launch New Campaigns: Add paid search campaigns for new stores weekly.

Testing Implementation: Execute ad copy and bidding tests designed by the Sr. Analyst, and report on results.

Health Check Expert: Monitor paid search account performance, ensuring optimal health and efficiency.

Creative Uploads: Manage creatives for paid search and paid media (GDN, Demand Gen, and CTV) campaigns, ensuring they resonate with target audiences.

Budget Pacing: Track daily and weekly spend pacing across campaigns and flag anomalies to the Sr. Analyst or Manager.

Lead Gen Partner Support: Assist in day-to-day coordination with lead gen partners, including data pulls and performance tracking.

Invoicing: Process and reconcile vendor invoices for accuracy and timely submission.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze keywords and search queries to refine targeting and improve performance.

Insightful Reporting: Provide regular reports on KPIs, competitor metrics, and campaign performance.


Qualifications

1-3 yrs of experience managing paid search advertising

Bachelor degree preferred but not necessary


Competencies

Digital Advertising Know-How: You understand the ins and outs of paid search platforms and KPIs, and you're always staying updated on industry trends.

PPC Best Practices: You're well-versed in PPC account structure and optimization strategies.

Analytical Skills: Whether it's Google Ads or Excel, you're comfortable working with large datasets to uncover valuable insights and opportunities.

Collaboration & Communication: You know how to work with cross-functional teams and communicate findings clearly to drive business growth.

Expertise with Google Ads and Bing Ads interfaces, both web UI and Desktop Editor.

Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, and data analysis.

A keen eye for detail, excellent communication, and critical thinking abilities.

Independence: You take initiative and can work autonomously.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Performs sedentary work in an office environment with limited lifting (less than 10 pounds) or walking required. Close visual acuity required to perform work at computer terminal. No exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Requires repetitive typing motion, talking, hearing, grasping and feeling.
