Who are we hiring (and what will they do)?

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team.

As a successful Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will:

  • Drive pipeline growth by generating and qualifying leads through a mix of inbound follow-up and targeted outbound outreach, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality prospects for the sales team.
  • Establish engagement with prospects early in their decision making process and buyer journey to understand business needs, identify pain points, and assess overall fit–ultimately ensuring only qualified opportunities advance through the sales process.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Enterprise, and Partnerships to support territory strategy, accelerate sales cycles, and ensure handoffs are timely, and positioned for success.
  • Acts as a student of the CTM platform and its ecosystem, regularly participating in training sessions, staying informed on product updates and understanding how market trends impact client use cases.
  • Become an expert in our current verticals, focusing on how each industry leverages our platform to solve their own challenges and drive value.
  • Research and analyze new industry verticals for expansion by identifying trends, potential use cases, and strategic opportunities to help inform go-to-market efforts
  • Serve as the initial contact, establish a strong foundation for a positive customer experience
  • Work with our Marketing team to help optimize market trends and customer feedback, with the goal to increase website traffic.
  • Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills.
  • Assist the sales team within the Salesforce environment, and use Google Sheets to support our Business Analyst in retrieving needed metrics and reporting
  • Demonstrate CTM’s values and deepen relationships through multiple touch-points in the sales cycle to include: email, phone, Go-To Meeting, networking events, and handwritten notes.

What skills will help you be effective on our team?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales—ideally within a fast-paced SaaS, professional services, or multi-office organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset, able to thrive in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong proofreading, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or InterAction) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Google Suite; bonus if comfortable with tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting platforms.

  • The expected salary range for this role may differ based upon the candidate. Salary presented with a job offer will be based on factors such as calibrated job level, educational background, prior work experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.

  • We offer a hybrid work schedule with Mondays and Fridays as our work from home days. Once an employee reaches 5 years of service, they are eligible for Summer Fridays
