Job description

Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Location: Columbus, OH
Base Salary: $54,000 – $75,000 + Performance Bonus
About iVueit
iVueit helps organizations quickly verify what is happening across distributed locations by delivering real-time photographic documentation and structured field data on demand.
Companies across Facilities Management, Commercial Real Estate, Insurance, and Residential operations rely on iVueit to confirm work completion, verify compliance, and gain operational visibility across their portfolios.
Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, iVueit is a fast-growing technology company built by a team that values curiosity, execution, and ownership. We move quickly, challenge assumptions, and look for people who want to build something meaningful.
The Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and engaging organizations that would benefit from iVueit’s platform.
This role is not about sending mass emails or setting low-quality meetings. It is about understanding operational problems, starting thoughtful conversations with the right companies, and qualifying opportunities that deserve deeper exploration.
The SDR works closely with Enterprise Account Managers to build targeted account lists, execute outbound campaigns, and initiate discovery conversations with decision makers in Facilities, Operations, Risk, and Development teams.
This is a role for someone who enjoys researching industries, understanding how organizations operate, and connecting the dots between real-world problems and innovative solutions.
What You’ll Do
Identify Target Accounts
  • Research and identify organizations that fit iVueit’s ideal customer profile.
  • Develop targeted account lists based on industry segments, operational triggers, and expansion patterns.
  • Use modern sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and other prospecting platforms to identify relevant contacts and opportunities.
Start Conversations with the Right Prospects
  • Execute thoughtful outbound outreach through email, phone, and LinkedIn to initiate conversations with prospective customers.
  • Write concise, personalized messages that highlight relevant operational challenges.
  • Focus on quality outreach rather than high-volume activity.
Conduct Light Discovery
  • Lead short discovery conversations with prospective customers to understand their current situation, operational challenges, and priorities.
  • Determine whether there is a meaningful opportunity for iVueit to help.
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings with Enterprise Account Managers when appropriate.
Execute Campaigns and Sales “Sprints”
  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to run targeted outreach campaigns around specific industries, use cases, or operational events.
  • Continuously refine targeting and messaging based on feedback from conversations and campaign performance.
Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers
  • Partner closely with Enterprise Account Managers to ensure meetings are well prepared and prospects are aligned with iVueit’s ideal customer profile.
  • Provide context and insights from early conversations so the Enterprise Account Manager can run a productive discovery process.
Contribute Market Insights
  • Share feedback with the broader team about messaging, target segments, and emerging customer needs.
  • Help refine outreach strategies and campaign themes based on what you’re hearing in the market.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in sales development, business development, outbound prospecting, or a similar role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly curious with a desire to understand how businesses operate and where challenges arise.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with professionals across operations, facilities, development, and risk management functions.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage daily outreach activity and follow-up.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms is a plus.
What a Great SDR at iVueit Looks Like
Top SDRs at iVueit share several characteristics:
  • They are naturally curious.
They want to understand how companies operate, what challenges teams face, and how decisions get made.
  • They focus on quality conversations, not just activity.
Great SDRs know that one thoughtful conversation is more valuable than dozens of generic emails.
  • They take ownership of their campaigns.
They think critically about which accounts to target, why a company might care about iVueit, and how to start the right conversation.
  • They are resilient and coachable.
They learn from feedback, adjust quickly, and continuously improve their approach.
  • They collaborate well with Enterprise Account Managers.
They provide clear context for meetings and help ensure prospects are well-qualified before deeper discovery.
  • They think like builders.
They look for ways to improve outreach strategies, messaging, and targeting rather than simply following a script.
Why Join iVueit
  • You’ll work with a team that values initiative, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • You’ll gain exposure to multiple industries and learn how high-performing sales teams identify and develop opportunities.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to grow into more advanced sales roles as the company continues to expand.
Work Environment
This role is based in Columbus, Ohio and requires proximity to the iVueit office. The position includes a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.
