Orin Rice is partnering with a growing medical technology company in Seattle that is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive new customer acquisition and build the sales pipeline.

This is a true outbound sales development role for someone who enjoys prospecting, getting decision-makers on the phone, opening doors into large organizations, and creating qualified opportunities for a field sales team.

The company sells an innovative clinical technology used by healthcare organizations across the country. You'll be joining a growing commercial team where your ability to identify the right contacts, generate interest, and book qualified meetings will have a direct impact on growth.

What You'll Do

  • Research and identify decision-makers, influencers, and potential champions within target healthcare organizations
  • Execute consistent outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand current processes, challenges, needs, and buying potential
  • Qualify prospective opportunities and determine appropriate next steps
  • Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for the field sales team
  • Develop strategies for breaking into and expanding relationships within target accounts
  • Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity, conversations, and opportunities in the CRM
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Marketing to improve messaging, campaigns, and outbound strategy
  • Consistently achieve activity, meeting, and pipeline-generation goals

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years of professional sales experience, ideally in an SDR, BDR, inside sales, or other outbound-focused role
  • Healthcare, medical device, healthcare technology, or complex B2B sales experience is a plus, but not required
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively engaging new prospects
  • Proven persistence and ability to handle rejection while maintaining consistent activity
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a polished, professional phone presence
  • Excellent written communication and follow-up skills
  • Organized and comfortable managing a high volume of prospects and sales activities
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or another CRM is preferred
  • Ability and interest in learning a technical product and communicating its value to sophisticated buyers
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Why This Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join an established but growing medical technology company with an innovative product and a significant national market opportunity.

You'll work closely with executives and play an important role in building pipeline and opening new accounts. For someone who enjoys outbound sales and wants to build experience selling into healthcare organizations, this role offers exposure to a complex, high-value B2B sales environment.

Benefits

The company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
